Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) will host a four-week STEAM Summer Camp for local high school students (entering 10 through 12 for this Fall, 2020). The Camp is intended to increase interest in STEM by exposing the students to different scientific topics.  This camp is funded by the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.

STEAM Summer Camp will run from Monday, June 15 -- Friday, July 10, 2020 on SUNO’s campus from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm daily. Student activities will be fully online (internet). Students will be engaged in ACT Prep, CAD Designing, 3D Printing, Robotics and Science activities. There will be a half hour lunch break from 11:45 am – 12:15 pm.

 Students will receive a stipend for full participation; specifically punctuality and all rules and regulations to ensure accommodation, proper supervision, safety and security to protect minors online. Students and their parents will need to sign contract and certification forms on the first day of the ONLINE STEAM SUMMER CAMP.
